This community project, funded by the City of Palo Alto’s Artlift Microgrant, invited residents to track their everyday travel routes and make a communal map of our movements. Through group drawing workshops, we traced our exact everyday movements on a communal AAA map. We also, reflected on our daily lives, during and after the pandemic and processed collective experiences. Each participant’s map, notes, and color keys were scanned and combined into a collaborative mural. This work honors shared memory and connection through drawing.
