Mapping: Italy

On a recent trip to Italy with my father, our first just the two of us since I was fourteen, I used a GPS and Strava to track our routes through Venice and the Dolomites. As we walked each day, I reflected on family, memory, and the landscapes that shaped my past and present. These paintings track our movements, including a near-missed turn on a mountain trail, weaving together personal history and place.
